The VFFI interactive web and mobile application which bridges technology with community, by connecting participant users and program administrators to services and support. The application is a multi-module, real-time resource for users to access programming, manage accounts, complete and monitor component requirements set forth within case plans and interact with one another. In addition, as an added convenience to its users, the same features are available on the VFFI website portal for users who prefer web access instead of mobile access. Application works in partnership with the Reentry Software case management system® (RES) (DataCaliper).

As one of the multiple component modules, the Domestic Violence Distress Reporter provides an innovative and impactful supports for domestic violence program management intentions, by tracking distress response plans, and allowing participants to activate and initiate different levels of distress response plans from the convenience of the mobile application. This feature is hidden within the mobile application to ensure the safety of potential victims, and initiates activation of the response plan with a one-step action by the participant.

In the Learning Management System, various components of curriculum are created, uploaded and assigned to the participant, which can be completed by the participant themselves via the mobile app. This module allows them to complete assigned curriculums in phases, monitor progress, track success, and communicates the same information to the program administrators. Completed coursework is tracked against the required number of contact hours managed through the curriculum, and upon completion, certificates are generated in the name of the participant, detailing achievements and hours completed.

In the Participant Incentive Portal, Incentivizing participants to drive participation in not only survey and assessment completion, but for curriculum completion as well. The application tracks completion of required components as the users do so within the web or mobile app portals, and then notifies administrators when minimum requirements have been met. Incentives are tracked upon completion and paid out to the participants by the administrative staff. Participants can monitor their incentive awards and payments in real time via the app as well, while administrators control how and when the incentives are disbursed, via the Payments module.

In the Trauma Informed Care Mood Tracker Module, allows a participant to complete a mood and behavior monitoring assessment from the convenience of their mobile device, as they are assigned them by their support service worker. Response data is submitted to the caseworker in real time, along with trigger identifiers and notifications indicating change in mood, response or behavior. Administrators are able to not only administer the surveys themselves but track and monitor submissions over a period of time and engage when necessary.
